Square dancing is a fun, social activity for all ages.

You can come with a partner, with friends, or by yourself. Be prepared to laugh, make mistakes and have fun.

They start with 2 free nights - 7pm-9pm on September 8th and 15th.

Regular classes start September 22th - 7pm-9pm

Where do the lessons take place?

Lessons take place at the Cordova Bay United Church Hall.

Cordova Bay United Church
813 Claremont Ave.
Victoria, BC

Who can dance?

Square dance is a fun, social activity for all ages. You can come with a partner, with friends, or by yourself. Be prepared to laugh, make mistakes and have fun.

What to wear?

Comfortable clothing and shoes. The Cordova Bay United Church Hall, our home hall, asks that you wipe off your shoes to remove any grit before dancing. Please wear shoes that won't scuff the floor.

Two left feet?

Don't worry. The Saanich Squares will provide the music, the venue, a caller/teacher and Angels.  Angels are experienced dancers who come out as volunteers to help the new dancers. Some of our Angels have been dancing for over 20 years, (which says something good about this activity). You'll be dancing with both newcomers and long time members.
